Manufacturing Capabilities

The manufacturing operations of Emcure Pharmaceuticals are spread across 14 world-class manufacturing facilities in India. Emcure is vertically integrated, with production facilities for APIs, biologics and formulations, enabling efficient supply chain and ensuring quality control and cost.

State-of-the-art Manufacturing

Emcure remains committed to its focus of maintaining high quality standards and streamlining our manufacturing procedures to ensure compliance with increasing regulatory requirements.

We perform regular audits in our manufacturing facilities and regularly review and update our procedures and practices to ensure compliance with international regulatory and cGMP requirements
All of our manufacturing facilities also have waste management and environment protection systems designed to comply with laws on environmental pollution, with some also using rainwater harvesting and renewable energy equipment
All facilities have also been inspected by various regulatory authorities including USFDA, MHRA, Canada and Brazil, TGA Australia and Russia MOH amongst others

Manufacturing sites

Our current facilities have the capability to manufacture various dosage forms:

Orals We have built the expertise to produce a wide range of orals including solids, liquid orals and dry syrup/suspensions. Our oral solids capabilities include dissolvable & chewable tablets and hard & soft-shelled capsules with a focus on controlled release

Injectables We handle different packaging formats such as vials and pre-filled syringes, and forms such as lyophilized & liquid at our injectable facilities. We are also capable of producing high potency injectables, particularly those related to oncology products through complex processes

APIs We have two of our facilities dedicated towards manufacturing several different APIs such as intermediates, iron compounds, general purpose APIs and cytotoxic

Bio We have dedicated manufacturing facilities for our Microbial & Mammalian platforms as well as for fill finish of Bio-Therapeutics

Vaccines Gennova has recently established its innovative state-of-the-art mRNA-based technology platform for manufacturing vaccines. It is the first time in India that the mRNA-based manufacturing technology platform has been established which has the future potential to manufacture biologics and vaccines
